Realtime MIDI effects

MessageAuthor

Here's similar, updating note positions with changes. I don't really pay much attention to where they move to though, only what it sounds like. There's a little "Auto" checkbox on the dialog to turn on and off the changes in realtime.

RE: Realtime MIDI effects

Thank you for the demo, Lawrence ! This is what we're dreaming of... The Cubendo (?) version has more parameters, while the Logic version is docked, smaller, linked to current selection. Reaper version could be a small, configurable toolbar, linked to selection... And here's an old (v 2.0 in b&w!)and a new (v 8) demo of the feature in Logic: <--! (it might be the best explanation of the advanced methods, shortcuts etc.) The feature was perfect back in Logic 2.0 and still is :)... And for a moment of relaxation: . Making music with Logic (here: still pre-Apple) is always fun! Well, making music with the Parameter Box available in the Arrange is always fun !

+1. I'd love to see a similar implementation as Cubase/Nuendo.

bump... Maybe the MIDI fx can be implemented in JS? But in a separate MIDI-only fx chain which directly affects the presentation of the MIDI data in the editors. Or something along the lines discussed in this thread.
