Try this. Open a new project. Make a time selection of say, a few bars or whatever. Then right click (ReaMenus or your own method) and select: "Create region from time selection". Name it whatever, leave all fields as they pop up. And hit OK. Now, click and drag the region manually along the timeline a few times, simulating your desire to move the region to a new location in the project. Every time you move the region and release the mouse, a TEMPO time signature marker is automatically added. WHY? So, I tried moving the region around a few times, simulating a project where I need to move a region until I decide where it goes - and now I have half a dozen PLUS or so tempo markers. What possible reason could this be? And how can I disable it? So tedious to have to delete one by one tempo markings that automatically appear without me wanting them to. I just want to freely move a region if needed, without markers being duplicated with the tempo and meter. Mind you, it's duplicating the time sig/tempo from measure 1, I'm not changing a THING. It's just inserting a "courtesy" tempo/time sig marker all over the project every time I move the region. Why? Why does Reaper think I need a repeat of the same non-changed time sig/tempo markers when all I'm doing is moving a region? Am I losing my mind? I'd be happy to show a vidcap if you need to see this insanity lol Thanks for the help guys! PS. I've already tried to change timebases and stuff but nothing seems to fix it :(
