Stutter

MessageAuthor

Hi all When I bought the car a couple of months ago I noticed a stutter sometimes while driving. The car seems to lose power for like a second and then all back to normal. At first it happened like once a month, then once a week, then once a day and now at least twice every trip. It happens so quick that by the time I look at the gauges all looks ok. It happens at town and highway speed. I have had a look at the plugs and the coil packs (only visually on the coils as I have no specs on them) and all look good. Any ideas? Cheer.

RE: Stutter

get it stuck on the volvo vadis system to have the codes read properly. Mine had a faulty boost pressure sensor and stuttered every now and then but still didnt flash a check engine message and only showed up on vadis.

RE: Stutter

i just noticed you have decatted your car. this could also be the fault. the s60 has two lambdas a pre and post cat. if the post cat thinks its all wrong it may be adjusting accordingly by wither leanign or richening the mixture leading to stuttering. The s60 doesnt play nice with a decat at all
