Reaper Live host with actions loading track state?

Hi fellows, I created the Live host tutorial earlier and I'm using it all the time now live. But I want to create a new setup so I need your advice. I want to have Reaper running and playing and meanwhile arm and unarm tracks (because I play live along on 1 midi channel). Any idea's how to program those events in the timeline?

Using a virtual midi cable driver you can send midi CC from a track to a new midi input that is configured to receive the midi controller changes for your live configs automated from the timeline. Maybe there is an easier way? edit: oh I think you can use MidiToReaControlPath to send the CC to Reaper live configs as a midi input to change the live config sets.
