Once you have a rhythm that you want to commit, you can copy the notes from the rhythmic (modulator) track into the carrier track (make sure the channel assignments are correct) and apply FX to items (MIDI).

Hi, thanks for this, I hope to find some time to play with it soon! I for one would find the strum feature pretty useful. For triggering down and up strums, I suggest using velocity with maybe a setting for the lowest velocity to trigger a down strum.
