Importing QuickTime Movie carashes ProTools 6.4 LE

MessageAuthor

I'm running ProTools 6.4 LE on a Mac G4 Dual 1.25 OS 10.3.8 with a digi001 card and all of the sudden when I try to import any Quicktime Movie to any PT session PT immediately crashes. I've never had any previous problems importing or using QuickTime movies until now. I have QuickTime vers 6.5.2 installed. Has anyone experienced this before?

Just an update to my original posting. I reinstalled QuickTime 6.5.2, which didn't solve the problem. Then I reinstalled ProTools LE 6.4 which somehow did solve the problem. I have no idea what it was, but seems to be fixed now.

I noticed that this happened when when Pro Tools 6.4 was selected as a supported application in the Core Audio set up. When PT is removed from the list of supported applications, importing a QuickTime movie works fine.
