Note to Digidesign-LE Version Menu Architecture

MessageAuthor

I'm having a problem with the menus in LE. They are not the same as in TDM. Quickeys will not perform Menu key shortcuts to LE-ones that work flawlessly in the TDM version. There should be no reason why the 2 versions are different as far as this goes. Please correct this in a new release. Thank you.

I believe QuicKeys looks for the application name.. have you told your macros that it's not the same app? Rail

I'm talking about two different computer-one running just LE with an Audiomedia III Card and the other running a Mix plus system. The exact same menu key command cannot be created in LE with Quickeys.

OK. Did you read the first post. Why does it work in TDM and not LE on OSX???

Have you reprogrammed the macro in LE or are you importing and using the TDM macro? Rail

Yes. It's a newly written key command in ProTools LE. Try it for yourself. It's very easy. Create a user shortcut; menu command; type in AudioSuite for main menu, and Gain for submenu. It doesn't work in LE and it does in TDM. Therefore, the 2 versions are somehow different, and it makes absolutely no sense why.
