coolant drain plug location

Hello! Could anyone please advise the location of the block coolant drain plug on a redblock B21 (240) and a B230K in a 740. Both are non-turbo models. Im guessing they are in the same location....The 940 Wentworth turbo has a nice drain tap on the oil cooler next to the oil filter. Pics of the location would be most gratefully received! thanks Shimon

it is on the side of the block behind the rear branch of the exhaust manifold just below the red heater return water pipe .

Can be a g*t to get out too!

can be tricky getting AT it ! depends on the shape and length of your arm/hands of course .. And a cool exhaust manifold helps

And if you have a B230K with EGR there is a second pipe getting in the way as well as the heater pipe.
