nVidia Purevideo! I don't see anything of it ...

... even now. I've bought a brand new Geforce 6600 GT from AOpen because I'am sick of watching full 1080p just jagging and non-fluid. So now I use this graphics-card and I don't see anything of this wonderfull new technology, and there are some authors in the internet, which wrote that the technology works on their card. Is there any trick? When watching WMVHDs the CPU is even full exhausted and no use of this technology is there! Even the MPEG-2 Decoding doesn't works probably because when watching to a DVD the CPU is even 15-16% exhausted. What's my mistake? My system: P4 2.8GHz 512 DDR-RAM 160GB Harddrive AOpen Aeolus 6600 GT 128 MB AGP8x Forceware driver: 75.90 (I've tested the 67.03 too - no changes)

I think you have to use the Nvidia DVD Decoder. Assuming you are using it, follow these instructions. I think this is what you are referring too... Cheers,

Thank you for answering me, but this wasn't my question. I heard about some curious dll-files for replacing into the media player to enable the wmv-hardware-acceleration. This is my *** problem. But thank you for your screenshots on this site, now the MPEG-hardware-acceleration works and even the vmr-scaler works perfect. But what's up with the Media Player update?
