Toggle the Extended Mixer

Several themes include layouts that show the "extended mixer" (FX list, FX Parameters list and Sends list) alongside the MCP controls; as shown in (using ReAction v1.00): It would be valuable (and make producing themes easier) if there were -- a new MCP button to show/hide the extended mixer ("Toggle Extended Mixer") -- an Action to do the same ------------------------ Issue tracker FR:

i agree, that'd be cool - when i first started using reaper i actually assumed you could just drag horizontally on mixer channels to expand them. big picture, not a game changer in my everyday use of reaper tho

That would be an elegant solution. I assume you do know that in the meantime, you can assign different layouts to 20 different actions, so changing a given track layout in the mixer could be done with a single keystroke. Make it a cycle action and it's almost what you're proposing.

^^^^ I must try out that cycle action toggling. But there are only 20 available actions and it relies on finding the layout with the exact name in the theme. So if you change themes the named layout will probably not be there. Anyway, it's such a standard feature, go vote for it. Then the themers can remove the "Sidebar variations" from their themes.
