Indicator shows MIDI, but track does not

After setting up my project, MIDI suddenly stopped working. The yellow indicator light on the track shows MIDI is present, but the Insert Piz Here MIDI monitor shows none and my VSTs are sitting still. If I start a new project, everything works fine. So, I must have accidentally clicked somewhere I shouldn't have. I'd rather not rebuild the whole project again. Can anyone guess from the attached screenshot what I've done wrong?

Start from scratch. Take off all the plugins. If you want to monitor midi, there are alternatives. JS: MIDI Logger, for one. So, try with just that on the track. Got MIDI? OK, proceed. If you've got channel / CC mangling requirements see if you can do it with Reaper plugins. There's lots of tools available from the very active community here. tbh, I'd avoid the InsertPiz stuff nowadays.

I am used to a different theme, so I can’t tell from your screenshot—do you have input monitoring enabled? If not, turn it on so that the plugins (Piz, VSTi) can see the MIDI data.

Thank you jrk & lunker. I followed your advice, checking each control one at a time and found that record monitoring was turned off. I turned it on and everything seems to be working great. Out of curiosity, which theme do you folks use?

Good guess / insight Lunker! I've always used the default (5) theme. Call me boring.
